Support Scotia Festival

You can play your part.

Scotia Festival of Music is a registered non-profit organization, and relies on the generosity of our patrons and supporters to help us continue our mission to provide chamber music at its best to our local communities, and educational opportunities to aspiring musicians.

Through grants, donations, and our lottery draws and auctions, we’re able to finance the initiatives that have made us an integral part of the fabric of the Nova Scotia arts community for over 40 years.

There are many ways you can support us, including:

Each year, we raffle off a fantastic prize - most recently, an original Maud Lewis painting. Buy a ticket – your odds are some of the best in town, and every ticket sold helps us present fantastic music.

Our Scotia Festival souvenir program is read by over 2,000 patrons each year, with high visibility placement possibilities on every page.

Billeting a Young Artist

Every year we have wonderful young artists from all over the world come to Halifax to take part in our Young Artist Program. Often unfamiliar with the city, these young musicians need a place to stay during their two-week festival experience, and can benefit immensely from the stability provided by a local billet home. Plus, you receive free concert tickets!

Remembering us

The Scotia Festival of Music Foundation has been established as an endowment fund to provide a new source of reliable revenue for our organization. Your gift or bequest, of any size, will have a long-lasting impact.

Annual income generated by the endowment will go towards supporting Scotia Festival of Music’s world-class performances and educational initiatives.

By remembering us in your will, life insurance or registered plans, you can help to secure a more sustainable future for chamber music in Nova Scotia, and beyond. Talk to a member of our team today about your gift and bequest options.
